Workout video company hit by music rights lawsuit

Peloton, which offers spinning classes via streaming video, has been hit by a US$150 million lawsuit by 10 music licensing companies for using their music without permission.

Eminem wins lawsuit for sound-alike song used in political ad

Eminem has won a lawsuit against a New Zealand political party for using a sound-alike song that is too similar to the rapper's hit song, Lose Yourself, in their political advertisement in 2014. The National Party has appealed for the damages to be reduced and will pay NZ$225,000 instead of NZ$600,000.
