Instagram comedian unwittingly becomes model in diet patch ad

Australian comedian, Celeste Barber, known for parodying photos of celebrities on Instagram, was notified by a fan that her photos are being used on the shopping website Wish. On the page, her photos are being used as a ‘before’ picture to sell weight loss patches.

Eminem wins lawsuit for sound-alike song used in political ad

Eminem has won a lawsuit against a New Zealand political party for using a sound-alike song that is too similar to the rapper's hit song, Lose Yourself, in their political advertisement in 2014. The National Party has appealed for the damages to be reduced and will pay NZ$225,000 instead of NZ$600,000.

​NBA star Terry Rozier has been accused of stealing the design of a mask from a movie and using it in his merchandise. Rozier, who plays for the Boston Celtics and is also known as “Scary Terry”, has been selling shirts and sweatshirts that feature his nickname and the image of the infamous mask from the 1996 movie Scream.

Samsung partners with wrong Supreme brand

Samsung seems to have partnered with a 'legal fake' Supreme brand in China, instead of the original Supreme brand that was started in New York City.

New Indian museum design alleged to be copied

The upcoming Museum of the Prime Ministers of India might not seem so stately after a claim that its main feature is stolen from another building’s design. Architect Raj Rewal has claimed that the design of the museum is copied from his design of the library block of the State University of Performing and Visual Arts in Rohtak.
